Fishing League

2017 Wednesday Night Fishing League Information

At least one participant on boat MUST be a GTASFA Member. (all Michigan DNR rules apply)
Registration begins 45 minutes prior to lines-in at designated launch site
All anglers & boats may be checked prior to participation
All anglers & boats are permitted to leave launch site no earlier than 15 minutes prior to lines-in.
Each registered angler way weigh in a fish
Signature on waiver of responsibility required for every registered angler.
All fish measured for length with pinched tail on measuring board, no exceptions.
Weather calls will be made by league committee up to 3 hours prior to lines-in. Default location for this is West Bay – Elmwood Twp Launch

Top 3 places are paid cash prizes. 1st place – 70% of entry fees, 2nd place – 20% of entry fees, 3rd place – 10% of entry fees.
Select nights are noted as BONUS PRIZE nights. On these nights registered anglers may weigh 3 fish for aggregate weight. Heaviest 3 total fish wins bonus prize.
All lines must be out of the water by designated stop time.
Boats must be inside the pier heads or in line for launch no later than 15 mins after lines out.
If a tie in weight, length will determine winner. If length ties, place is split.
All fishing techniques welcome!
$10 entry per registered angler

Attendance = 5 points

1st place finish = 30 points, 2nd place finish = 20 points, 3rd place finish = 10 points, 4th place finish = 5 points

Bring child between 4 – 16 years = 5 bonus points, Bring “first time” child between 4 – 16 years old = 10 bonus points
